Product Description
Softens As It Cleanses
Non-Comedogenic
CETAPHIL® cleanser was formulated for dermatologists as a gentle, non-irritating cleanser for even the most sensitive skin. Unlike soap, CETAPHIL is completely non-alkaline, non-comedogenic, and fragrance free. Soothes and softens as it cleanses, helping the skin retain needed moisture. Use for face, hands, and the entire body. Also an excellent cleanser for the delicate skin of babies.

5 out of 5 stars Cetaphil Cleanser   March 7, 2010
Cheryl (New Jersey)
For decades I used a plant-based cleanser only. When I tried products that cost money with AHAs and PHA, all they did was make my skin red.

I've been to three dermatologists and all 3 recommended Cetaphil. I buy it at our local drugstore. I buy one for sensitive skin.It even removes your makeup if you put some on a dry cotton makeup remover pad, then pat your eye. Repeat. Takes the make up off. (I have not tried this yet with mascara, but it works for eyeshadow, eyebrows)

My face is never dry with this. I used it for several months and was very satisfied. It makes my skin nice. I used to use half and half with a cotton ball soaked and used on my skin with a tiny drop of almond oil to cleanse my skin. This works just as well without the mess of the half and half.

Have no hesitation buying this..its ridiculously low priced. It wont dry your face out. A few times a week, I add in a little natural gentle exfoliating with this around my nose and chin.
If you'd have problems with retinol or AHA, try this.

1 out of 5 stars This was terrible for me!   February 24, 2010
Kelsey A. Morrow (Idaho)
I have used this before on my arms and legs, and it didn't make a difference for my KP, but it also didn't make it worse. I decided to try it on my face (I don't have kp on my face, and I don't have acne either) as a nice change because my forehead had been getting oily lately. After several uses, I started noticing tiny little bumps popping up alllll over my face. My face seriously looked like I had goose bumps all the time. I immediately stopped using it, and it took over a week for my skin to completely clear up! After I stopped using the cetaphil, I went back to my regular cleanser and moisturizer and those stung my face (and they are VERY gentle). I will never use this again!

5 out of 5 stars I love this lotion....and was quite surprised.   August 3, 2009

I've had this lotion on my shelf for months and kept using my 'fancier', good smelling stuff. I guess you could say that I am sort of a 'lotion junky' because I have so many. I even have some in a storage room because I don't have enough room on my closet shelves for all of them. I have some that I love the fragrance and some that I just thought were better for some reason. I don't know why because I hadn't even opened my Cetaphil lotion yet. Maybe because it's in such a plain bottle. But, as they say, "don't judge a book by it's cover". I now know this applies to my Cetaphil lotion. For a while now I thought Olay Quench was the best, but I finally opened my Cetaphil yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! I don't think my skin has felt this soft in a long time. Well, maybe I should say felt this soft and STAYED this soft. This stuff doesn't wear off or evaporate like some others that have to be reapplied a few hours later. My skin feels so soft that I keep wanting to feel my legs, arms, etc. I will now be using this from now on as my first pick. Who knew?

I've used this moisturizer for some time and find that it is the only one that really helps my extra dry skin. Thanks, Cetaphil.
